CodeFocus · Terms of Service

Last updated: June 2026

By downloading or using CodeFocus, you agree to these terms. If you don't agree, please don't use the app.

What CodeFocus does

CodeFocus lets you block selected apps on your iPhone unless an AI coding agent is running on your paired Mac, detected over Bluetooth. It is a personal productivity and novelty tool — not a security product or a guaranteed way to control your behavior.

Subscriptions (CodeFocus Pro)

The Mac helper

The optional Mac helper is software you install and run yourself. It is provided as-is; you are responsible for running it on your own machine.

No warranty

CodeFocus is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind. Blocking depends on Apple's Screen Time framework and on Bluetooth connectivity, which can be affected by your device settings, range, and operating system. We do not guarantee that apps will always be blocked or unblocked, and we are not liable for any missed notifications, lost time, or other consequences of using (or not being able to use) the app, to the maximum extent permitted by law.

Acceptable use

Use CodeFocus only for lawful, personal purposes. Don't attempt to reverse engineer, resell, or abuse the service.

Changes

We may update these terms; the current version always lives on this page.
